MAT 


 
The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), for admission to MBA and equivalent programmes of the various participating institutes.
                                               

AIMA-MAT is usually conducted 4 times a year: in February, May, September and December. The list of institutes that use the AIMA-MAT results varies from test to test.


Eligibility

Candidates should be graduates in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

                                      **Scores are based on the first four sections only, the decision to consider scores of the General Awareness section are left to the institutes.
 
Exam Format

Candidate can choose any one of the two options to take the test:


 
  1. Paper- Pencil Test (Offline Test)      OR

MAT is usually conducted 4 times a year in February, May, September and December

Paper Pattern:
Total Questions: 200
Time: 150 minutes 

Marks allocation:
Correct attempt: 1 mark
Incorrect attempt: Negative marking not specified 

Paper-Pencil Test
Test Timings : 10:00 to 12:30 Hrs
Reporting Time at the Test Centre 09:00 Hrs
Computer Based Test (Online)
Test Timings :
 The test will be conducted in different time slots at specific test venues; subject to number of candidates registering for Computer Based Test.
How to Apply

Candidates can choose any one of the following modes to apply.

Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR against cash payment of Rs 1050/- (One thousand fifty only) from AIMA, New Delhi.
or
Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1050/- (One thousand fifty only) in favour of 'All India Management Association' payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website alongwith the DD details. Detailed procedure is given on the website link. 
or
Register online at website link  with Credit Card payment. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.
