The department was estalished durinng the year 2007 with an intake of 60. The intake was increased to 90 during the year 2008 and it increased to 120 during the year 2009 the department is supported with competent committed qualified senior faculty to train the students to meet the present challenges the department has well established laboratories like unix and shell programing database managment systems object oriented programming advanced data structures lab etc. supported with latest soft ware to provide effective programming skills to meet the global competitiveness .the laboratories are well equipped with high speed data network with various servers like red hat linux server,oracle server and english communication skills server etc.,using client server technology .the number of computers are 250 .
departement established a technical association " TRACE"in 2008-09 to organise different activities benificaial to students to improve their talents and skills for the good employability after completion of the course....
